Relaxed and Unobtrusive

We have perfected over many years a filming style that is relaxed, unobtrusive and "in the background". All our standard packages involve no "set up" shots e.g. looking into the camera, or posing whilst we film from different angles. Everything is filmed in real time "Live". We won't ask you to repeat anything.

We try to create a friendly, trusting atmposphere between ourselves and our couples so that you can relax and enjoy your occasion knowing that there will be no un-wanted interruptions or embarrassing footage finding its way into your final film.

There are a lot of nightmare stories about competition between photographers and videographers for your time, certain shots etc. On the day itself we work in conjunction with your photographer, and any other service provider to ensure that we create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere during the busiest parts of your day. We try and ensure that everyone is able to provide a top class, quality service whilst still capturing all your special moments.

Pre-Wedding Meeting

Included in your package price is a pre-production meeting, normally at your home or at the venue. The meeting is very informal and not only allows you to meet and get to know us beforehand, but also we can explain how we operate on the day, confirm all your details, music, timings etc, and also answer any questions you may have. This ensures that everything is planned and confirmed beforehand, so you can enjoy your day hassle free. Also (subject to availability and if applicable) we offer to attend your wedding rehearsal free of charge.

We never sub-contract any of our work to a third party, so you can have peace of mind that we deal with your initial enquiry, right through to the filming, editing and final delivery of your wedding film.

Music in your Film

At Diamond Lights we believe the music used in your film is just as important as the footage taken. You have complete control over the music selection used for your final wedding film. Depending on your package selection, we normally ask you to select approx. between 15 and 20 tracks (the more the better !!) and then this is used as the soundtrack to your wedding DVD. We can provide a list of music that other couples have used on their wedding films to help your selection if required.

In Summary

I intend to make your wedding day as relaxed as possible whilst the experience I have gained over five years filming weddings allows me to still capture all your precious moments in a relaxed, unobtrusive atmosphere. No fake time consuming set up shots, and most of my previous couples "..didn't even know I was there".
