Music

We believe that the music used in your film is as important as the footage taken.

That is why at Diamond Lights, we encourage you to select every track that will be used in your final wedding film.

The amount of tracks required will vary depending on your package selection, but normally for our "DELUXE" package approx. 15-20 tracks are required.

Your music choices help us create a special wedding film that is unique to you.

Before we even start to edit your film, we take your music list and expertly allocate each track to a different section of your wedding DVD (e.g Arrivals, Evening Reception, Highlights of the Day etc.).

We try and match the lyrics of the song to the pictures on the screen enhancing the mood of each segment.

First Dance Track

We will ask you to highlight on your list the track you will be dancing to for your "First Dance". We will then creatively edit this section to the original CD version removing any unwanted background noise and the sometimes "tinny" DJ audio feed

If you have your first dance performed by a group or artist, then we will use the audio feed recorded "Live".

Music List

Some of our couples find it easy to compile their music list, others do struggle a little. With this in mind we have created a list containing a selection of music that other couples have used in their wedding film. This is in PDF format and you can download it   here.

You can use as many tracks (or none at all) from this list, but it is just a guide to help start you thinking about your music selection. There are no right or wrong choices, and whatever style of music you like should be fine.

Once your music selection is confirmed we ask you to burn each track in MP3 format onto a CD with your name and wedding date. We are always here to help and advise if needed, and if you wish to discuss any aspect of your music selection with us, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.
